CISC 310 - Introduction to Computer Information Science
This course is a survey of the computer field covering the function and purpose of computer hardware and software, computer programming concepts, productivity software, employment opportunities, and the social impact of the computer.
Professor Tim Wei
Timothy Wei has taught at Sacramento City College for five years. He received his Bachelors in Science from Cheng Kung University, Taiwan and his Masters in Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
As a team, design an e-commerce website that would be appealing to customers. The goal of this project is to learn what is involved in developing an e-commerce website; in hopes that the information learned can be put to use in future projects.

Trevor Blythe - Currently masking as a college student working towards bigger and brighter things. True identity is unknown, although he is rumored to be a visitor from a far off galaxy searching our world for intelligent life forms to take with him on this adventures. His favorite number is 42.
Sarah Boone - S. Boone is a descendant of the B. Queen, of the Borg hive, located in the the D. Quadrant. Boone's goal is to be play with Heroclixs while assimilating other worlds.
Virginia Hogan - Originally a history and education major, Ms. Hogan changed to a computer science and engineering major when she realized her hobby of computers was more than just a hobby. Currently she is working on completing her A.S. in Computer Science and has hopes of transferring to UC Davis to complete and receive her B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering. Her goal is to one day develop educational software to better enhance children's education.
Paul Magaoay Jr - Mr. Magaoay is 42 yrs of age and a single parent of three wonderful children: Dominic 15, Denielle 12, and Deanna 11. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications: Radio/Television from San Francisco State University, class of 1988. He reason for coming back to school and pursuing classes such, as CISC 310, is simple. As of May of 2006, he reinstated back to state service with Cal Trans as an office technician, and by obtaining 12 more units in the field of computers he will be eligible to test for the Information Technology occupations at the state level. His current goal is to complete the required units by spring of 2007 and then move up to a bigger and brighter career as an Information Systems Analyst.
